What: Work at the Habitat for Humanity Restore

Where: San Andreas next to Brawner Automotive and Hurd Enterprises

Individuals who would like to volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity Restore must be at least 16 years old. They should call Garrett Browning and have their their names put on the list of potential volunteers. Volunteers will need to make an appointment at the facility for an orientation prior to working at the Restore. They may do a variety of tasks including some or all of the following: sorting donations, stocking shelves, helping customers, cleaning items, and after becoming more familiar with the workings of the Restore they can carry out more advanced tasks. Volunteers will work under the direction of the Restore supervisor, Mr. Garrett Browning. They will be expected to take their responsibilities seriously and to remain helpful without need for supervision. Volunteers must be on time when assigned time to work a four-hour shift and plan on staying for the entire time. If a volunteer can establish regular monthly shifts to work, that would be best. Since they will be working with the public, volunteers are expected to present themselves nicely, dress appropriately, and act with courtesy and discipline.
