What: walk dogs, clean cages, shuttle animals, basic maintenance

Where: Government Center near new jail and courthouse

Individuals who would like to volunteer at the animal shelter need to be at least 18 years old. They can go to the Animal Services office at the Government Center and talk to them directly, get an application to work, and take it to the Human Resources department. They will need to be fingerprinted ($32) and have a background check. An alternative is to work through the Humane Society.
